Where are we?

BlueWater Adventures put together custom charters to suit customer requirements - from a single day to a week or more live aboard charters.  With a 2B and 2C survey classification, we can get you to some of the most beautiful, pristine and action packed marine environments in the world.  This obviously includes the magnificent Great Barrier Reef as well as more remote areas in the Coral sea, including Marion Reef, Diamond Islets and Flinders Reef.   We also offer relaxing custom charters to the Whitsunday Islands as well as remote areas such as Shoalwater Bay and the Capricorn Islands.   Whilst our home port is Mackay, Queensland, we also offer departure and return points in other locations, including Hamilton Island and Airlie Beach.

MACKAY MARINA LAYOUT

Mackay Marina Village is a Marina, Shipyard, Residential and Tourism precinct.

The precinct includes: -

  • 479 berth Marina designed for vessels with a 3.5 metre draft
  • Residential village of luxury apartments, townhouses and marina berths.
  • State-of-the-art boat maintenance and repair facility, Mackay Marina Shipyard
  • Commercial precinct of restaurants and shops.  Resturants and bars range from, The Deck Steakhouse on the Marina, Latitude 21 Bar and Restaurant, Sails Sports Bar, Georges Thai on the Marina, The Lighthouse Seafood Restaurant, Angelo's on the Marina and Hello Beautiful Cafe
  • Luxury four and a half star hotel, the Clarion Hotel Mackay Marina
  • Winner of the Marina of the Year award, 140+ boats category, awarded by the Marina Industries Association of Australia 2013-14
